Who am I?
Thank you for visiting my website. I am Christian Marsal, a Computer Science graduate from Bad Kreuznach, Germany.
I have been invested in working with and understanding computers since my early childhood. As a result, I developed a strong interest in critical thinking, which first led me to pursuing Mathematics and ultimately finishing my degree in Applied Computer Science in 2022. During my studies, I realized I had an affinity for understanding and conceptualizing data in a commercial context, which is why I chose Business Information Systems as my field of specialization.
What are my skills?
While I studied all fundamental areas revolving around Computer Science, certain fields particularly drew my interest:
AI. I researched AI thoroughly, which led to my Bachelor's thesis titled "Discovering the Hidden Threat: State of the Art of Explainable AI for Adversarial Attack Detection”. Within, I analyzed the potential of XAI tools for the sake of exposing both black-box and white-box adversarial attacks on machine learning systems.
Data Science. I have elected data science during my studies, and intrigued by the field, I have employed it in personal projects using Python to further my understanding since.
Databases. Carefully structuring and maintaining data came naturally to me. I have worked with SQL both in uni-related and personal projects and hope to improve my mastery in the future.
While I highlight these specific areas, I am also curious about exploring entirely new directions, if the chance presents itself.
